COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (CDO)
Job Purpose:
The CDO works directly with communities to identify their needs, plan and implement development programs, and strengthen local participation. The role is focused on empowering communities through education, livelihood, health, environment, and social welfare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement & Mobilization
1. Build trust and maintain strong relationships with local communities.
2. Organize awareness campaigns, group meetings, and workshops.
3. Motivate community members to participate in programs.
Needs Assessment & Planning
1. Conduct surveys and community mapping to identify problems.
2. Work with community leaders to develop solutions.
3. Prepare project proposals and action plans.
Program Implementation
1. Oversee implementation of projects like skill development, health camps, women empowerment, education, or sanitation.
2. Coordinate with government departments, NGOs, and local institutions.
3. Ensure resources are used effectively.
Capacity Building
1. Train local volunteers and self-help groups.
2. Facilitate leadership development in the community.
3. Encourage sustainability by making communities self-reliant.
Monitoring & Reporting
1. Collect data, maintain records, and prepare progress reports.
2. Monitor project outcomes and ensure targets are met.
3. Report challenges and suggest improvements to management.

SALARY : RS.40,000/- WITH INCENTIVE
QUALIFICATION : BA, BSc, B.com, BE, Diploma, MBA, Mtech, Any Degree
LOCATION : UNDER YOUR DISTRICT UNDER STATE CO-ORDINATOR
WORKING HOURS : 9:30AM TO 5PM (Saturday and Sunday Off)
